The Black Dog

Folklore stories tell of a giant, coal-black dog which roams throughout the wilds. In certain stories the dog is a malevolent apparition, a portent of death, in others though, the dog is said to behave benevolently.

  1. Black shuck! They're not really my area of expertise but the paranormal research charity I'm treasurer for had a conference a few weeks ago on the topic of faeries and phantom black dogs were mentioned several times x
